This scenic town is located a short distance from Shimla, and is extremely popular among honeymooners travelling to Himachal Pradesh. "Viceregal Lodge, easily the most historically important building in Shimla, was once the summer residence of the Indian Viceroy who ruled India from 1888 to 1946. The Mock-Tudor state mansion, surrounded by impeccably tended gardens, is easily the most significant in the list of places to visit in Shimla, a refuge for historical and architectural buffs. Also known as the Rashtrapati Niwas (the President’s residence), Viceregal Lodge enjoys its position at the second highest point in Shimla, first being Jakhoo Hill.

It is one of Shimla's most renowned and religious places to visit. It is located on the Kalka-Shimla highway, about 20 minutes by car from Shimla. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Tara and highly respected by people who come to visit Shimla and the local dwellers, perched atop a hilltop near Shimla.

Chail Wildlife Sanctuary, formerly a hunting ground for the Maharaja of Patiala, is among the country's least recognised wildlife sanctuaries. It is undoubtedly one of the most well-preserved wildlife sanctuaries, situated 63 km from Shimla in Himachal Pradesh, and is home to an opulent array of flora and fauna and is one of the best places to visit in Chail.A range of fauna and flora is home to the Chail Wildlife Sanctuary. European red deer, wild boar, goral, spotted deer, sambar, common langur, Himalayan black bear, flying squirrel, Indian porcupine, etc. are some of the park's most prominent animal species. Local Pine and Deodar trees provide the flora it hosts.

Kali Ka Tibba is perched on top of Mountain Blossom in Chail, making for a very nice picture. This secluded destination, dedicated to the goddess Kali, is the perfect way to attain that peace and quiet away from the crowds of tourists and is one of the best places to visit in Chail.It's a fun activity to trek up to this serene location and you can meet different species of animals on your way up. Angling and horse riding in the vicinity of Kali ka Tibba are also very common.
