Plan your incredible Weddings and Destination Event in Kochi
Kochi is a city in Kerala, a coastal state in southwest India. Since 1341, when a flood hollowed out its harbor and opened it to Arab, Chinese, and European merchants, it has been a port. Fort Kochi, a hamlet with tiled colonial homes and a variety of houses of worship, is one example of these influences. Kochi's cantilevered Chinese fishing nets have been in use for generations. The city is known as the "Queen of the Arabian Sea" and has one of the world's best natural harbors. For centuries, it was the center of the world spice trade. Old Kochi (now known as West Kochi) is a broad term for a series of islands that includes Willingdon Island, Fort Kochi, Mattancherry, and others.
