The food was very good but the service was pathetic.
1. We had to wait a lot to get the starters refilled or food served.
2. The washrooms were dirty and men's washroom was shared with the staff.
3. The servers did not bother to pick up the used plates and stuff from the tables. It was pretty messy.
4. The things, for example speakers, promised at the time of booking were not functional.
5. The basic upkeep of the place wasn't there--there were broken panels, dirty curtains, cloths, store items lying around.
6. There was no one to supervise the event and the waiters were not following directions.
Let me share my experience with you guys. I have been preparing myself & handling myself the kind of insult these guys has done to us.
We booked this place for our mehendi function for 19 April along with 20 rooms for the grooms guests for 3 nights which was 18th, 19th, 20th & 21st April.
The mehendi function went well & the stay went well for the guests. 20th was my wedding & 21st early morning after the vidai from my home i went to the hotel where my husband’s family were staying.
So, me & my husband were about to check out early as we had our flight to Aurangabad. So, i was busy packing & during that time the property manager or the person who manages the hotel calls me up & asks for the payment. His name is Mr. Karamchand. I said papa will come & will do the hisab. So, he started shouting at me saying you guys cannot leave without doing the payment. When we’re booking the place, the behavior was completely different & on the phone he was completely different.
Imagine i just got married, we all know what kind of state of mind you are after your vidai. I called up my dad & told him the scenario that he is shouting at me & asking for the payment. Just my husband & i were about to leave, rest of the guests were still there. They haven't checked out yet.
So, i my dad was on his way to the hotel, meanwhile my sister has come to see me off. SO, my sister asks him that let them go, i'm here until my dad comes & also, rest of the guests have not checked out yet.
The staff was very unprofessional, no sentiments, rude, insensitive, the way he treated us i can’t even explain. The staff didn't let us go at all. They were at the gate standing as if we’re some kind of thieves or something. We had our flights. Plus the kind of insult my family faced in front of the grooms family is unexplainable. I can’t even express my feelings here.
He let us go only when the payment was done.
My question here is that for these businesses money is so much important that don't even think of others feelings. We're are from a very good family & we know we won't cheat. We’re were not running away. It was just a matter of few hours, my dad was about to do the complete payment.
You guys can also imagine the state of mind he was after my vidai & this is what happened to us. An insult that will be there forever for the rest of my life with me. Even today if we try to forget what happened that day we can't forget. People are so insensitive these days. The kind of damage that has been done cannot be fixed.
When we were looking for a venue for our daughter’s birthday, someone suggested us to check venuelook for the options based on our requirement. We found Haris court the best out of the options. Their hall is quite big which we wanted for 100+ gathering, they are located near Sikander pur station which is good and the food is also tasty. The price did not hurt our pocket much. Overall , it was a pleasant experience and they made our special day even more special with their service.
